The essence of Eid-ul-Fitr lies in sharing happiness and standing beside those in need. To uphold this spirit of compassion, the voluntary organization "YES I Can" launched a special initiative this year to brighten the Eid celebrations of underprivileged children.
On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, "YES I Can" distributed special Eid gifts among approximately 1,000 orphan and helpless students from various madrasas and orphanages across 22 Upazilas in Bangladesh.
The gift packages were carefully curated to ensure that every child feels the festive warmth. Each student received:
New Clothes (Panjabi): To wear on the day of Eid.
Prayer Caps (Tupi) & Attar: To complete their festive look for the Eid prayer.
Chocolates: To add a touch of sweetness to their celebrations.
New Currency Notes (Crisp Cash): A traditional "Salami" that brings immense joy to children.

The distribution was carried out across 22 different sub-districts (Upazilas), targeting remote areas where resources are often limited. By reaching out to madrasas and orphanages, "YES I Can" aimed to ensure that no child feels lonely or left out during the biggest religious festival of the year.
A representative from "YES I Can" stated, "Our goal was simple—to see a smile on the faces of these innocent children. Many of these orphans do not have the means to buy new clothes for Eid. Through this small gesture, we wanted to remind them that they are part of a larger family that cares for them."
The heartwarming scenes of children holding their red gift boxes with glowing faces served as a reminder of the power of collective kindness.
"YES I Can" continues to work for the welfare of the underprivileged, and this Eid initiative is just one of many steps toward building a more empathetic society. We thank all our donors and volunteers whose tireless efforts made this project a grand success.
Let us keep spreading love, one gift at a time.
